Terror attack on Church in Pakistan condemned widely, US asks for decisive action against terrorism
The recent suicide attack on the Methodist Church in Quetta by Islamic extremists which killed 13 followers and injured about 60 others has been condemned widely as a 'cowardly and inhuman' act both in Pakistan and by the leaders of other countries.

The mass funeral of the dead was held at the Christian cemetery in Quetta and a demand was made to bring those responsible for the massacre to justice and an appeal was made to the Government of Pakistan to strengthen measures for the protection of citizens during the on-going Christmas festival season.

It has been reported that the Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack. Meanwhile, the Government of Pakistan has rejected the US President Trump's accusations undermining Pakistan's role against terrorism.

It may be recalled that the US administration has recently released its first National Security Strategy document asking Pakistan to take 'decisive action' against various terrorist groups there.
