Kareena and Saif Ali Khan's son Taimur turns one: Pataudi Palace decks up for grand birthday bash
Taimur Ali Khan has been all over social media since the day he was born. His cuteness quotient is undeniable. The family celebrated his first birthday at their ancestral home, the Pataudi Palace.

One of the most famous kids and undoubtedly the most desirable baby in recent times celebrated his first birthday at Pataudi Palace on Wednesday. It was a low key affair with only close family members and selected friends.

Taimur's parents Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan; his aunt Karisma Kapoor along with her kids Samaira and Kiaan; actor Amrita Arora; Kareena's parents Randhir Kapoor and Babita; and Saif's mother Sharmila Tagore were present at the birthday bash.

Saif and Kareena had organised a special treat for the little boy with a merry-go-round, balloons, toy horse and more. A few pics have gone viral on the internet where Taimur is seen enjoying every bit of the event. In one of the pics, Taimur is seen on a toy horse, and mummy Kareena is seen behind giving him company.

In another picture, Taimur has his fingers and face all smudged with cake standing with his parents.

The little boy was also seen posing with his cousins, Kiaan and Samaira. There was also a toy train to go on a joy ride.

The two sisters Kareena and Karishma posed with blue and white balloons in the background.

The little nawab has always flaunted his infectious smile and the nation has gone gaga over this rich and famous kid ever since he was born. Dressed in a kurta pyjama and a pair of sun glasses, the birthday boy looked inexplicably smart in the images. Born to a stylish mother, he already seems to be stepping into his family's shoes as far as fashion trends are concerned.

The party was organised at the family's heritage home, the Pataudi Palace. The palace, also called the Ibrahim Kothi, has 150 rooms; the palace includes seven bedrooms, seven dressing rooms, seven billiards rooms, palatial drawing rooms and dining rooms, all in royal style.

The family confirmed that the party will be only for close family members and select friends.

Kareena had earlier said, "It's going to be a family affair. It's not going to be a big Bollywood party like how everyone sees it. It's his first birthday and he should be with his family - his parents and his grandparents. It's going to be a small intimate thing."
