Creativity at its best: This 'Snow Ganesha' idol is attracting Mumbaikars
In view of making eco-friendly Ganesha idols and celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi festival in the most unique way, a theme-based entertainment space – Snow World – has contributed in this move by making a Ganpati idol of snow during the Ganeshotsava celebration.

As per the reports of ANI, Snow World has been organising a different kind of Ganeshotsava since last five years.

In order to celebrate each and every festivity in a unique way, Snow World Manager Paramjeet Singh said that this snow Ganesha is also different.

He added, "It is just to contribute to the spirit of Mumbai in addition to giving them a feel of Switzerland or Kashmir."

This is a cent percent Snow Ganesha idol in which 300 kilograms of snow has been used and it took around 15 days to prepare this idol, said by sculptor of the snow idol, Sushant Dandwate.

Ganeshotsava is a much-celebrated festival in the state of Maharashtra which was started by India's great freedom fighter Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak over a century ago.

The festival symbolises happiness, peace and prosperity of one and all and since last few years, there has been a lot of focus on environment-friendly Ganpati idols during the ten-day celebration.
