Button to nuclear missile is on my desk, threatens North Korean leader Kim Jong-un
While people throughout the world are pushing for a little more ease in the world, the North Korean dictator thinks otherwise.

In his New Year address to his countrymen, Kim Jong-un openly talked about his country being a nuclear power. Though he also said he won't use the option of nuclear weapons unless threatened, but the fact that he has accepted that his country possesses nuclear powers, might change the world equations drastically.

In his address, he also promised to lay more emphasis on producing nuclear warheads and missiles in the upcoming year. Launching a direct attack on the United States, he said that it should know that the whole country is within the range of nuclear missiles that the country possesses and that the 'button is always on my desk'.

Confirming the nuclear possession, the North Korean leader reportedly said, "This is reality, not just a threat."

However, he also offered a bottle of hope as well when he said that he will think about sending a delegation to the winter Olympics being played this year. The games are to be held in South Korea, North Korea's arch-enemy.

In September last year, the country successfully conducted its sixth nuclear test which was followed by a ballistic missile test in November.

The country has been facing immense criticism from all over the world for going against international sanctions and has also been facing severe sanctions from the US. But it has been defending its possession of nuclear powers.

The North Korean leader is also reported to have said that his officials might soon meet officials of South Korea to discuss the possibilities of North Korea's participation in the games.
